Dennis St. Pierre
Dennis St. Pierre, dramatist, director, and “show shepherd” for “One Way Trip to Mars,” has worked for more than 20 years as a professional actor, director and producer with 30+ theater companies throughout the US an abroad. He is also an educator and is currently teaching at Snow Pond Arts Academy in Sydney, ME. For a more complete bio click here.
Courtney Babbidge is a musician, director, educator and composer in midcoast Maine. He has been music directing community and youth theater since 2008 while simultaneously working with various local musicians and providing musical accompaniment to many elementary, middle and high school choirs, talent shows, and plays throughout the region. A lover of all music from Bill Evans and The Beatles to Bach and Bluegrass, Courtney is at home in a variety of styles and on a variety of instruments. He’s been excited and honored to be a part of ONE WAY TRIP TO MARS. “I really like the premise of the show. While being fictional, it’s far from science fiction and has many cathartic moments and reflections of what it is to be a 21st century human.”
SCENIC, LIGHTING & PROJECTION DESIGNER
Chad works as the lighting programmer for ESPN Sports Center, ESPN NFL and MLB as well light director for CBS Sports Network and CNBC. Chad was a project assistant at the Metropolitan Opera and Theatre Project Consultants London. Recent work includes programming for The City Center in NY, Busch Gardens and Ogunquit Playhouse. Previously at the Opera House: scenic & lighting design for Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Rocky Horror, Shrek the Musical and Fiddler on the Roof. (www.chadlefebvre.com)
LIGHTING AND PROJECTION TECH
Mike is the lighting designer and technical director at the Chocolate Church Arts Center, where he has worked on dozens of projects, from concerts and dance recitals to popular plays and musicals, including the premiere of “One Way Trip to Mars” as a multi-media concert in the fall of 2016. Mike is a wizard at all things electronic and runs a thriving business at “Michael’s Pro Sound and Computer” in Boothbay Harbor (www.whatbrokeit.com)
Devin has been involved in music and audio since his early teens. In 2013 he graduated from Full Sail University with a bachelors in Music Production and Engineering. Around the same time, he started engineering for local theatre groups, eventually ending up as the audio engineer for the Chocolate Church Arts Center where he now devotes most of his available time.
